Thanks to OMY, I got to go to ALIVE Museum in Singapore with Mr. Wan!

It was really cool, 3D paintings that you can touch and feel and take fun pictures at!!

So what's so special about ALIVE Museum?

Alive Museum actually originated from a 3D visual illusion museum in South Korea.

This (Alive Museum in Jeju) was also featured in this Korean Drama Heartstrings during Gyu-Won and Shin's first date together!! Super sweet!!

So here's the Singapore rendition!

This was pretty real, our legs went jelly after trying to look down!

The Escape Hunt

Finally got a chance to experience The Escape Hunt!!

What is it about?

You get to become a detective for an hour! 

Being locked inside a scene (room) for an hour, trying to look out for clues and link them together to solve it and get out of the room!! It's really brain wrecking yet exciting and fun!!

I was so thankful for this experience because I LOVE SOLVING MYSTERIES!

I read detective books and comics since young and even created a detective club in Secondary school (lol!) and even till now, I love watching detective related movies/ books/ comics/ anime!!

Well, I believe that if you're really into detective kind of stuff, 

you'd have known that this is not the first Escape Game around in Singapore.

However, what makes the Escape Hunt different is that their games are designed by a UK mensa member 

(Who has a Masters in Psychology from Cambridge)

The games are multi-dimensional, and non-linear.

 Game play follows a strong story line and are logical 

(once you figure the whole game out, hahaha!)

Just look at their waiting area!!

It's so classy and comfortable and into the theme!

They serve complimentary biscuits and tea, and their service was excellent!

They would talk to you before and after the game and learn about your experience and hear your feedback if you have any!! And boy, I really love places with good customer service!

(Which are rarely found in Sg nowadays, sigh!)

Another plus factor for The Escape Hunt is,

THEY DO NOT COMBINE YOUR GROUP WITH OTHERS.

Which mean, if you want to be in your group of 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 etc.

You GET TO be in your groups.

I mean like, imagine being assigned to join other groups of 2 to form 4.

And having to endure the pain of working with and having different opinions with complete strangers.

It'll somehow (or rather) affect the outcome of the results!

Plus I don't really like to interact with strangers, heh.

So anyway,

I was so glad Eileen was at the event too!

I paired up with her bf and her and we managed to solve the mystery in 53 minutes!!

* TONS OF APPLAUSE PLEASE* 

It wasn't easy, it was the Advance level room (the toughest one)

And the other team didn't actually manage to solve it, heh!

And last but not least, what I loved best about The Escape Hunt 

(Besides the great mystery solving part)

All of us literally spammed photos, using their props and costume!

LollyTalk - Handmade Rock Candy

HELLO HELLO. Believe many of you out there are sweet toothed like me! I'm here to introduce to you this very special & unique Rock Candy Maker.

They're opening this FRIDAY!!! (4th January 2013)
I believe that just by the name itself, it brings you a lot of interest to it doesn't it?:) When I first came across the name, the first thing that came to my mind was a lollipop talking to me!


LollyTalk is a local based company that makes their own rock candies fresh from the scratch!!
EVERYTHING IS HANDMADE
I believe many of you ain't stranger with rock candies. But let me share with you some interesting facts about Handmade Rock Candies & LollyTalk :) (Which the very friendly shop owner shared with me and I felt really enlightened!!)

Handmade Rock Candies and the art of Candy-making actually originated from Australia! (Now there's something more besides Kangaroos to remember from Aussie!) 
And the founder of LollyTalk is an apprentice of Ross & Judy who won the Grand Champion Rock Candy, and several awards at the 2009 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards, Australia’s premium fine food event that is held annually to give recognition to outstanding producers in the Australian fine food industry, including all its major candy and dessert makers!!

Can you believe how awesome it is?
And no, this is not the end of the awesomeness of LollyTalk. READ ON!!

See this really cute boy here? (Nyaaaaaa, I will just pinch his cheeks everyday if he was my brother/son!)
He's the Mascot of LollyTalk, ROCKY. He also has a friend CANDY which are both designed by a renowned Art Director who oversaw the artwork of several Korean online games!  And both of them lives on an island called Candy Island!!


So cool right.  (Yes, the map is printed at the back of the packagings!!!)

See this SUPER CUTE ROCKY standing at the entrance, waiting for you to step in :):):)
And once you stepped into the shop, you'll feel really light-hearted!! It's as if you've stepped into another dimension where everything and everywhere's about candies!! They even play really cute songs to add on to the ambience at the store. (Like some WillyWonka factory!!)







Really cute shelves that are made at such level because this is the eye level of children!!
So meticulous right? 
I mean, kids are often neglected while shopping (even for candies) because the stuffs are placed at high levels that they can barely see! I super love this idea of designing some space for kids to be entertained & feel happy going to the store itself! :):):)

When the candy maker told me, I thought I heard it wrong! It was so prettily packed and super hygienic way of placing samples!! (Y)





So pretty right! Each pack consist of two different flavours randomly packed together :)

THIS IS SOMETHING REALLY COOL.
I swear it's really cool cause I've never seen a COLOURED BARCODE before. At first I thought it was just a design, but when I asked the candy maker, he said it was a real barcode that could be scanned!! Omg. 



So sweet looking design right! This is lychee flavoured! :) (Can buy it for your loved ones^^)

To me, what differentiates LollyTalk is they're attitude towards making rock candies. They do not only make candies, they create happiness in people too!
