CASIO Pomrie Rubber Stamp Maker

Sponsored Advertorial

I've been wanting to make my own customized stamp since a really long time ago!!
And lucky for me, Vivian introduced me to CASIO's new product, Pomrie!
I'm very honoured to be able to try this product out and make a review out of it.

So first, let me show you POMRIE.

The Pomrie Printer comes with:

USB Cable
Software CD
Charger
x1 15mmx15mm Stamp Pad
x1 15mmx15mm Stamp Base
x1 Black Ink
Pomrie Printer

There are different sizes of stamps you can purchase separately (as show above)

Look at how small it is!

And they come in a whole range of colors for the stamp inks!!
(P.S. I'll show you how some people make use of the colors to make really nice effects!)

So first thing you do after purchasing the printer,
You'd have to download the POMRIE software.

It's a really cool software that allows you to edit your own images into a stamp,
or alternatively, you could use their wide range of image base and make them into a stamp!

I wanted to do a SS by SS tutorial through the process but I realize it's more interesting to watch the video.

CREATE STAMP WITH THE PICS IN THE SOFTWARE:

CREATE STAMP WITH YOUR OWN IMAGES:

AND BEST PART OF IT, ITS MAC COMPATIBLE.
You know how limited Mac compatible softwares are? Especially those fun and cool ones!

Mac Pomrie Download Link:

................................................

So now, this is my go at it!!

I told Mr Wan to draw something and I'd make it into a stamp!
(Cause he's curious how this works too)

So he drew on my Note and I transferred it to my com and printed it out!!

Picked the 60mmx30mm one for his design!
(P.S. you don't have to peel anything for now. Just insert the whole thing in!!)

Put it through the butt of Pomrie

And TADA!
It's out and almost done!!

(YES, it's his favourite Pikachu, drawn by him)

Once it's out, all you gotta do is peel the plastic layer to get the stamp pad out

Then peel the adhesive paper off the bottom part of the stamp base

And stick them together!!

Now, applying the color!
(Mr Wan initially said to try Pink -.- Pink Pikachu, really?)

Leave the color on for around 5 minute? And you're ready to stamp away!!
(I was too anxious I left it on for around less than a min but it turned out well too, as shown below)

You'd need to stamp it for around 3-4 times before the actual stamp design appears!!

AND THE EFFECT IS SO PRETTY!!

There's so many things you can do with pomrie!
It's not only for the adults that do crafts, but also fun for the kids!!
Just one gadget, and you can have special customised stamps from now on!

And no, you do not have to buy a new pack of same sized base every time.
You can just buy the refill pack which only consist of the top part in the picture
(The adhensive for the stamp pad and stamp pad)

..........................................

How much is it and where to get it, you ask?

It's selling at POPULAR BOOK FEST (Suntec Expo Halls) at a
Special Price of SGD99
from now till the 21st December!!!

And what's more?
Customers can enjoy 20% off Pomrie accessories!!

Do follow and like CASIO's Facebook page to know about latest updates on promotions and products!
https://www.facebook.com/casiopomriesingapore

P.S. LIKE and TAG them on their FB Page on your Pomrie stamp designs on 4 crafts,
and you'll get a 30x30 or 45x45 stamp replacement sheet holder kit!
(Promotion ends 31st Jan 2015)

And remember I said I'd share with you some works of cool stamps made?
Look at this talented young chap's work!!

SEE HOW HE MAKES USE OF THE STAMP INK COLORS AND MAKE SHADES?!
I'm seriously amazed!!

(Psst, it's a good christmas/valentine days gift~)

What I really love about this is that you can make your own stamps, with your own details!!
You know how some "stamp customisation" companies disallow prints that are of different shades?
The current stamp makers industry only allows solid one tone stamp designs.

BUT POMRIE CHANGES EVERYTHING.

I'm still really engrossed and in love with the stamps made with Pomrie!
(I made my DNA stamp too!!)

Can't wait to stamp them on my 2015 organisers and future craftworks!!

HIPPO ProOne [ Review ]

So......I know you guys are excited for this post!!

Review of my newly bought earphones,

A few of you managed to guess the brand, it's HIPPO!
And it's not really well known in Singapore/world actually.

I'm not sure where it originated from either, even after much googling.

Why did I get this despite the lack of branding?

I tried the Shure's SE215 and SE315, which fell within my budget of $300.
But to be honest, the quality wasn't as good. And I was actually pretty disappointed.

I used to own a Shure earphones which has a really great overall control on the low, mids and high.

However, the SE215 and SE315 was a great disappointment.
No doubt that the bass and lower tones were relatively strong.
But the highs were too weak to even up.

The SE425, which costed slightly above my budget was better. But still, not good enough.

What I look for in a pair of earphones?

1. Clarity.
Especially in the high tones.

I cannot stand muffled high notes, it just irks me to an extend I'd slam my mp3 off.

2. Comfort.

Basically, my ear has a weird shape. Everyone says so after they try the earpiece on me.
Normal in-ear earphones wouldn't fit, it just drop out after moving a little. And it just feel really insecure and uncomfortable, like it'll be easily pulled out anytime. So I had to have earphones that would have a hunchback to support and hold against my ear.

Like this.

3. Price.

My budget was set at a gauge of $300, plus or minus a little would be fine.
I tried the Shure's SE535 and it was pretty great (though still lacking a little on the higher notes), but it costed a bomb of at least SGD700+. And of course, the even higher priced sets like SE846 were greater sounding, but too high end for users like me.

..............................

So finally after the recommendation of Jaben's staffs,
I tried and decided to get this unknown brand (to me), HIPPO.

Ok, enough of words.

Inside the box, a small portable earphone casing :)

It came with the earphones, earphone casing, ear buds, and this really cool stick!
It's to remove the ear wax from the ear buds!! Hehe, so cute!!

Specifications:

Driver: Single Balanced Armature
Frequency Response: 20Hz - 18kHz
Sensitivity: 112dB/mW
Impedance: 16 ohms
Cord length: 1.2m

So, overall review of the Earphones itself.

Looks/Design: 4/10
Obviously it looked kind of cheap, because of the wire design. Also, they didn't really have any branding printed on the earphones. But I love the transparent color, like SE215! Hehe.

Comfort/Fit: 8/10
It fitted my ear pretty okay. The hunch was a little small for me and thus making it slightly loose but still acceptable and better than most earphones. Only Shure's earphones shape fit me perfectly, after trying so many earphones, so I can't really expect much from other brands. This was the second best already.

Noise Isolation: 7/10
Barely acceptable. Not too bad but not really impressive.

Sound Quality - Low: 5/10
After a week usage of the earphones, I felt that it lacked bass quite badly.
It was okay on the overall, but just lacking that bit of bass to make the music come alive.

Sound Quality - Mids: 8/10
The mids were pretty fine and performed up to my expectations!

Sound Quality - High: 7/10
Their high notes were pretty nicely done. Just that it appears really thin (if you understand what I mean) and it peaks a little when it gets slightly louder. The overall is fine, it just lack the layers.
But comparatively to the other earphones I tried in the existing market (with the other factors into consideration), it was considerably good.

Price: 9/10
Considering the quality (compared to the other big brands), this was really cheap actually.
It costed me SGD168, with a year of warranty and free HIPPO Mp3!

..............................

So yes, I'm done with this earphones review!
I hope this might help some of you out there trying to get your pair of right earphones :)

Honest comment, this is not the best earphones I owned.
But the old one that I'm using don't have stock in the market anymore.
So this was the best within my budget I could make do with.

So, till I can afford a better set.
BYE.

Sponsored Advertorial

So this is the final yet favourite product I'm going to introduce to you guys,
JBL MICRO WIRELESS

Palm Size Speaker with a Hook on top!
(You can hook it on your bag)

You can connect it either Via. Bluetooth...

OR WIRED!

This is like my Fav product!
It's so small & convenient to bring around!
AND I love the option given to connect with wire!
(Lazy people like me rather the messy wires than using bluetooth hurhur.)

It's NOT AS LOUD as the FLIP/CHARGE but it works perfect for a home based speaker.
Where you can just plug it in your mp3/laptop/etc to enhance the volume of your music.

I DID A MINI COVER IN THE VIDEO BELOW!
Just so to inform you guys to watch it, kthxbye.

As said in the video,

I use the Micro Wireless to practice my songs (for my gigs) and to watch my anime/movies/etc!
My Mac speaker works fine when I'm in a really silent environment but once there's human at home,
the Mac becomes to soft for me to even listen.

I LOVE THIS SPEAKER.
Saved my ears from the soft speakers of Mac.

JBL Charge - Wireless Bluetooth Speaker : With A CHARGE.

Sponsored Advertorial

I'M BACK
with the next product from JBL.

JBL CHARGE.

As usual, no camwhore photos.
Just unboxing and product shots!

This is where you can plug in a cable to charge your devices whilst enjoying the music via Bluetooth!

Connecting the Charge to my com!

There you go!

You guys must be wondering,
What's the difference between the FLIP and the CHARGE.

Main differences are (in my opinion from using both of it):
1. Charge has a wider range of volumes
2. Charge is bigger in terms of size
3. Charge can CHARGE your devices (doh?)
(YOU CAN USE IT AS A PHONE CHARGER WAHAHAHA.)
4. Charge has a battery indicator
5. Charge feels more sturdy

But having said, I really feel that both the speakers are really good!
The CHARGE feels like a modification from the FLIP.
So it boils down to the Price and Size VS the Loudness and Charge.

The JBL Charge comes in three colors, Green; Blue; Grey.

For more details on the specs:

Retail Price: SGD$200++
(I forgot how much was it, but I saw it selling at 200+ in Challenger)

JBL Flip - Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Sponsored Advertorial

HELLO MUSIC LOVERS

Hereby introducing to you guys the amazing
JBL FLIP

Nope, no camwhore photos with it.
Just basic product shots to show you guys the unboxing of it.

Every JBL speaker comes with a comfy sponge clothing for it! :D

Handy size!

Can stand in two ways!

When you turn on the power, it'll blink in red and blue.
It'll be searching for device (via. Bluetooth) to connect to!

And there you go!
Successfully connected!

I was brainstorming for the past 2 weeks,
HOW SHOULD I PRESENT THE AWESOMENESS OF THE SPEAKER TO YOU GUYS.

I really feel that, there's no other way than a vlog to show you guys the sound quality.
But even in the video, it couldn't really bring out the actual loudness/blast of the speaker.

The blast was LOUD yet CLEAR.
Unlike many speakers that goes all distorted once it blasts.

As mentioned in the video
(For the benefit of those who're lazy to click and watch)

I would recommend this speakers for a party or like gathering cause it's really loud!
It's really portable and you don't have to worry about the wires cause it's wireless.
You can just connected it via. Bluetooth and place the speaker elsewhere!

The JBL Flip comes in two colors, Black; White.

BRANDS InnerShine : Marine Collagen Essence Strip

Sponsored Advertorial

Helloooooooo!

I believe many of you girls out there love to make up so that you look pretty right?
But do you know what is the most important factor in a girl/guy to look attractive?

The Skin.

Photobucket

See the difference?
Everything in the picture is the same except the complexion of the skin!
(Sorry I spelt complexion wrongly in the photo, it's 3am+ when I'm editing photos, lol!)

I purposely photoshopped the left photo to have the "pimple scars even under concealer" look!
And yes, even the best concealer can't help you cover your pimple scars sometimes!!
(I don't know how to create wrinkles in photoshop -.-)

But anyway you get the point.

Complexion of a skin.

I personally HATE to use foundations because I feel very stuffy in it.
Unless for events where I'm working in (that'll have mass photo bombs by photogs),
I usually go out without make up, or with light eye make up + concealer only.

And this is how I look like with light eye make up + concealer only.

Photobucket

Everyone loves & wants smooth fair radiant skin without wrinkles or pimples scars!
But of course, not all of you would have the time to put facial masks/skin care everyday!

So I'm introducing you guys/girls a brand new product by BRANDS InnerShine!

Marine Collagen Essence Strip

Photobucket

What is Collagen?

Collagen is actually a fiber in the connective tissue throughout our whole body!
But people usually notice the face only though.

And do you know that our skin begins to drop at an annual rate of 1.5% once we reach adulthood?
With addition of our working stress, polluted air, alcohol, smoking, late sleeping etc. increases the speed of getting old skin!! Also known as ageing skin!!

(imagines self having wrinkles everywhere .__.)

Why must we Replenish/Restore Collagen?

For a simple reason, it actually helps to maintain our skin suppleness & elasticity!!
That's why many people buy Collagen facial products/ skincare products.

(Even my facial foam is collagen based!)

Photobucket

What does this product do?

This Marine Collagen Essence Strip actually contains deep sea fish-derived collagen with Niacinamide (form of Vit. B3 that provides skin cells energy for growth & repair) & Vit. E (antioxidant that protects the skin from photo-aging effects)!

Photobucket

10 strips/box!!

Photobucket

Look at it's pretty pinkish packaging!!

This was designed to be plush, potent and portable!!
Each strip contains only 12kcal & weighs around 10g?

It's really convenient to just put a few in your handbag and nom on some on
the way out or during snack time!

Photobucket

There's Kyoho grape juice contains to make this whole strip taste yummy! :)

And no. It does not have any fish taste at all!
(Some are worried due to the "marine"-"fish-derived-collagen")

And it taste a little like Qoo white grape!!
Really sweet tasting and it tastes just like a jelly!

Photobucket

Here's me nomming my Collagen Essence Strip! :)

Photobucket

Super love this creation by BRANDS!!
They never fail to come out with smart ideas to improve healthcare!

Photobucket

Yes, I DO put them in my bags as I suggested!

Photobucket

GO GET YOUR BOX NOW :)

STAY YOUNG & PRETTY LOOKING PEOPLE!
